Subject: For Paul O'Neill from Jane Lang

Hi Liz -

It was great seeing you the other day. Thanks for all the good stuff! Mom asked me to send you a fast note regarding her request after we left the office on Tuesday.

Last Sunday, the final game of the homestand, we were talking to Jane Lang. The Yankees honored her during HOPE Week a few years ago. She is totally blind and comes to the game on her own from New Jersey by taking the train and subway - a remarkable story and woman. Unfortunately she informed us that her guide dog Clipper just passed away at the age of 9. He was her eyes to the world and she only wished Clipper could have talked! Jane was looking to pass a message along to Paul O'Neill about Clipper's passing since he was the one who took her out to Monument Park during her HOPE Week experience. She also wanted to send him love, hugs and kisses as she feels a special closeness to Paul because he was able to show her all the plaques and monuments in such a way that she felt like she was actually viewing them. Mom tried to get his attention from the Delta patio but obviously was unsuccessful. If you could pass this message along, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. Jane is a wonderful woman, a die hard Yankees fan, and someone who could be an inspiration to us all. If you need her phone number or address, we can provide that information.

Thanks again and have a great weekend!

Best,
Michael
