Issue One
Spring, 1999
Our first newsletter featured a drawing of Paul on the front cover paying tribute to the recently deceased Yankee Clipper, Joe DiMaggio.  Paul has carried the honor and tradition of the New York Yankees in much the same way as Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and so many other great Yankees behind him.  We went on to identify some of Paul's "favorites" including his favorite hobby - playing the drums.  Also included in the initial issue was a chronicle of Paul's experience in youth sports.

Issue Two
Summer, 1999
The second issue of our fan club newsletter featured a photograph on the front cover of Paul making a catch at Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium in Game 5 of the 1996 World Series.  The inside cover included information and photographs of more historic baseball moments in which Paul participated, including three perfect games.  Also included was an interview with Paul about his drumming hobby along with a photograph of him with John Mellencamp.

Issue Three
Winter, 1999
Issue number three from December, 1999 showed a front cover featuring Paul on a 1950's retro card designed and drawn by Ken Branch and a back cover featuring a photograph of Paul's father, Chick O'Neill, in his minor league baseball uniform on the pitching mound.  Our featured story was a detailed description of Paul's contribution to the Yankee's triumph in the 1999 World Series.  Most likely the most emotional series of baseball games Paul ever played as thoughts of his father's fatal illness hung over him during the pursuit of Paul's fourth World Series Championship.  We also included some letters and photographs from fan club members and some first person accounts of spending time with our favorite player from myself and Robert along with Paul's recommendations for success in the big leagues.

Issue Four
Spring, 2000
Opening Day 2000 was the title of issue four with a beautiful lithograph by Sean Fitzgerald covering both the front and back of the newsletter.  This lithograph featured some of the most memorable moments in Paul's career.  You can still purchase this limited edition 11"x14" artwork by ordering online or by contacting Robert at 1.513.231.3777.  Many photographs and short articles appeared on the inside.

The second year of the Paul O'Neill Fan Club Newsletter opened with a front and back cover showing a collage of photographs of some of Paul's greatest moments on the baseball diamond centered with a view of Paul's 1999 World Championship ring (his fourth).  Inside we saw Paul at Comerica Park in Detroit and stories and photographs from fan club members along with a fan piece showing O'Neill in the Yankee lineup-cards from 1978, 1961, 1953 and 1927.

Issue Eight (Final Issue)
Spring, 2001
Issue eight was the final issue of the Paul O'Neill Fan Club Newsletter.  Fan Club President Randy Cooper and Paul's brother Robert collaborated on many of the ideas for this issue, including a summary of past newsletters and images of Paul's baseball cards from 1989 to 2000.  Wonderful pieces of artwork were contributed by Sean Fitzgerald.  Randy and Robert brought a true collector quality newsletter that they believe will look just as good many years from now as it does today.
